Old photograph of patient Ennis Alldredge, in good health, presented by state lawyers at trial:

Actual Polaroid photograph of patient Ennis Alldredge, taken on admission to the Geropsychiatry Unit:

The state lawyers withheld the actual admission photographs from the defense.   At the first trial when they gave copies of the medical charts to the doctor's defense team, as part of "discovery", in the three cases where there was still a photograph on the chart (like above) they inserted a page saying that they were "missing" that page.  This time around, aware of the previous misrepresentations by the state, the doctor's new attorneys subpoenaed the charts directly from the hospital, and quickly found the hidden Polaroids.

These were part of the chart that the state lawyers had admitted to evidence at the first trial, in which the doctor was cheated out of a fair tribunal.  Now they will be properly in evidence, and they effectively refute the state lawyer's assertion that these patients were physically healthy on admission.
